AsSalyamu `Aleykum wa RahmatuLlahi wa Barakatuh,
Equipment: galvanoscope, two wires, zinc plate and copper plate, cup of water.
1. Attach zinc plate to one pole of our galvonoscope with a wire
2. Attach copper plate to another pole of our galvonoscope with wire
3. Put zinc plate over a copper plate.
Nothing happens
4. Put zinc plate and copper plate in the cup of water.
The pointer in the compass changes.
The galvonoscope reacts each time electricity is made. Cause of electric field around coil will change magnetic field and disturb our compass.
