Electrostatically charged metal spade attracts the electroscope pointer

AsSalyamu `Aleykum wa RahmatuLlahi wa Barakatuh,

Equipment: Electroscope, metal spade with a plastic handle, plastic plate

What happened:

1. Rub plastic plate against wool

2. Rub your metal spade against plastic plate

If we approach the electroscope pointer with the metal spade, the latter will attract the pointer.

Then wrap the metal spade, in a piece of paper or cloth and rub it against the plastic plate. Then through rubbing, the paper, the cloth, the metal spade all get electrostatically charged.
